Update on Solid Waste Site Repairs

Beaufort County Public Works expects to reopen the Buck Jones Solid Waste Site on Friday, March 20, following a temporary closure for repairs

Beaufort County Public Works expects to reopen the Buck Jones Solid Waste Site on Friday, March 20, following a temporary closure for repairs.
The Aurora and Chocowinity sites, which have been operating with extended hours to accommodate the closure, will return to their normal schedules.
The Pantego Solid Waste Site is next to undergo repairs. That site, located at 730 Beech Ridge Road in Belhaven, is scheduled to close on Monday, March 23. The site is expected to remain closed for approximately six weeks.
During this closure, the Ransomville and Yeatesville sites will temporarily expand operating hours to seven days a week: Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 6 p.m.
